A natural element that can last up to 400 years in the world's vast oceans, Silicon is present in nature in different chemical forms. It can be found in its mineral form (Insoluble) in crystalline minerals such as quartz or emerald. Silicon is also present in its active form (soluble in water) called Orthosilicic Acid (OSA), and monomethylsilanetriol.
