The creation of ExceptionHYAL® Star begins with a detailed in-vitro screening of the most effective hyaluronans spectra to provide the best bioavailability and skin rejuvenating activity.
In order to deliver a concrete biological efficacy, ROELMI HPC uses Full Spectrum Technology , a finely modulated biofermentation process that provides hyaluronans the ability to deeply integrate into human biology for targeted tissues, and finely modulate cellular responses.
The result is a specific spectrum of different molecular weights instead of a standard single peak, ensuring superior performance over currently available products in the market.
BIOTECHNOLOGY IN ACTION
ExceptionHYAL® Star wide spectrum of molecular weights allows a superior bioavailability that directly goes into circulation and interacts with cellular receptors, mainly CD44. The release of its metabolites strongly promotes hyaluronic acid endogenous synthesis within skin. Making it the best option in terms of enzymatic stability, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
BIOLOGICAL TARGET
Mature skins are directly related to the appearance of age signs such as deeper wrinkles. Internal oxidative processes and external factors decrease skin hydration, giving an aged appearance to the skin.
ExceptionHYAL® Star encourages the regeneration of building blocks of endogenous hyaluronic acid from oral intake. It helps decrease skin wrinkles, increase skin elasticity and smoothness, providing a global support in skin health, resulting in higher hydration, more efficient barrier effect and overall better skin aspect.
BIOASSAY AND CLINICAL STUDIES
The effects of ExceptionHYAL® Star on skin aging were evaluated on a test panel comprising 60 subjects showing mild-to-moderate skin aging signs. The dose of 200mg of ExceptionHYAL® Star was taken on a daily basis by the subjects for a period of 28 days. Product efficacy and tolerance were further evaluated using a self-assessment questionnaire. In addition, hyaluronic acid serum levels were weekly evaluated in a proportion of enrolled subjects.
ExceptionHYAL® Star showed a statistically significant improvement in all evaluated dermatological parameters related to skin aging. Skin became more hydrated (+10.6%) and protected from dehydration, with a decrease in both wrinkle depth (-18.8%) and volume (-17.6%) and increase in elasticity and firmness (+5.1%).
Instrumental results were further confirmed by self-assessment questionnaire outcomes. The ExceptionHYAL® Star group declared that the administered product helped to make the skin more hydrated (93%), softer (90%) and smoother (87%); skintone and elasticity were reported to be improved by 83% and 90% of subjects, respectively.
